As you have heard, Bucknell University Press, which has sponsored the New Studies in the Age of Goethe book series for over fifteen years now, closed on June 30th. We are extremely grateful to them and particularly to Suzanne Guiod, our editor there, for the care and support they have given us in supporting our series. We are sorry to have to say goodbye.
We are now very happy to announce that the book series has found a new home at Northwestern University Press. Northwestern needs no introduction to members of our society—its strength in German Studies has been demonstrated over decades—and it is certain to be an appropriate venue to raise the profile of the series even more. We are grateful to Faith Wilson Stein, Acquisitions Manager and Senior Editor for Scholarly Titles, who has worked with us to ensure that this will be a smooth transition and that the series can maintain its reputation for high-quality volumes that advance the study of Goethe and his age. As with our arrangement with Bucknell, GSNA members will also receive a discount on purchases in the Northwestern series. More information on that and an official announcement from the press are forthcoming in the next weeks.
